We Firmly Believe These Truths:
1. There is one God, the Heavenly Father. (1 Corinthians 8:6; Isaiah 45:5,6)
2. Jesus Christ is His Son. (Matthew 16:16)
3. The Holy Spirit is His power. (Acts 1:8)
4. All humans are mortal and are condemned to death. (Romans 6:23)
5. The only hope humankind has for immortality is found in Jesus Christ. To obtain immortality, a person must: (Acts 4:12)
a. Hear and believe the gospel. (Acts 16:30,31)
b. Repent of sins committed and be converted to Christ. (Acts 2:38)
c. Be baptized by immersion. (Acts 2:38)
d. Live a life of obedience to God. (John 14:15,23)
6. Jesus Christ will return literally and visibly to this earth. (Acts 1:11)
7. Those who have died in faith will be resurrected to immortality when Jesus Christ returns. (1 Thessalonians 4:16)
8. Christians still faithful to and living for Christ when he returns will be changed to immortality. (1 Thessalonians 4:17)
9. The nation of Israel will inherit the land God promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as an eternal possession. (Genesis 17:8)
10. Jesus will rule over the earth from the city of Jerusalem for one thousand years, the faithful ruling with him. (Revelation 20:4-6)
11. At the conclusion of the thousand-year reign of Jesus, there will be a general resurrection. (Revelation 20:11-13)
12. Judgment for those without a relationship with Christ will follow this resurrection. (Revelation 20:12-13)
13. The wicked will be completely destroyed. They will not suffer eternally in "hell fire." (Revelation 20:14-15)
14. God will come to the renewed earth to dwell with His people, at which time Christ will turn the reins of His Kingdom over to his Father. (Revelation 21:1-4)
15. The Bible is the inspired Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
