Along with my full-time Church duties I am heavily involved with the Oregon Fire Protection District as Chaplain and an Emergency Medical Responder.  I have been with the Fire Department since January of 2009.  I hope to never meet you in that role, but if I do I will do my best to care for you to the best of my abilities and those of Oregon Fire and EMS.

It has been my pleasure and privilege to serve the Oregon Church of God since September 1, 1988.  The church family is a wonderful group of people.  My family grew up here in Oregon, my wife Linda and I came here when our children were 8 and 5.  Our two now each have 2 of their own.  We love the Oregon area and think it is a great place to raise a family.


I would love to have you worship with us and to meet you.  We are a Bible based, Bible preaching church.  I want you to hear what God has to say so I share directly from the Bible.  As a Church, we try to display the best parts of family life; the love, acceptance and encouragement.  That is how we strive to treat all our new friends, just like family.  So, please come and check us out.

Our Philosophy

Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. At Oregon Church of God, we believe in sharing the joy of the gospels daily, and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.

Who We Are

We are a body of believers committed to worshiping God, following Christ, loving one another, and serving our community. Our worship style is casual and relaxed, mixing contemporary worship music with traditional hymns and relevant biblical preaching. We offer Sunday School classes for all ages and a children's church and nursery during our worship service.
